My experience opening a new account with Investec was disappointing because the process took much longer than I expected. I submitted all the required documents on time, but progress stalled without clear updates, and I had to follow up several times to find out what was happening. Each time I asked for a status, the responses were slow and didn’t give a solid timeline, which made the whole experience feel uncertain and frustrating. In the end, I still got the account set up, but the delays and lack of proactive communication made it more stressful than it should have been.
