I’ve been using Vumatel fibre for a while now, and overall, I’m pretty happy with the service. The speeds are consistently fast streaming, gaming, and working from home all run smoothly without the usual buffering or lag I’ve experienced with other providers. Installation was straightforward, and once it was up and running, the connection has been reliable most of the time.

My fibre has been down for over two weeks now. No internet, no explanation, no timeline for when it might be fixed. I work from home, so this isn't just an inconvenience it's affecting my income. I've got a grade 11 learner in my house who needs to do assignments and study, and we're stuck using expensive mobile data that barely works.

I really wanted to have a better experience with Vumatel, but unfortunately, it's been a frustrating journey. Two stars feels fair there are some positives, but the negatives are hard to ignore. The good: When the connection works, it's fine. I can't complain about the actual fibre speeds on a good day, it's reliable enough for streaming and work. The infrastructure itself seems solid when properly installed. Some technicians clearly know what they're doing and do a decent job. And I appreciate that fibre internet is available in my area at all.The frustrating reality: Everything around the actual connection is where things fall apart.
